LinkedIn’s Secret Job Filter Revealed: Devs Now Add &f_TPR=r60 to URLs to Beat Applicant #347
A LinkedIn user has discovered a hidden feature that allows job seekers to be among the first applicants for newly posted positions. By modifying the URL of their job search results, users can filter listings by the time they were posted, with options including the last 24 hours, hour, 10 minutes, or 60 seconds. The feature, which utilizes a backend parameter called f_TPR, is not exposed in LinkedIn's user interface, leaving many users unaware that they are not seeing the freshest listings. For example, adding &f_TPR=r60 to the search URL will display only jobs posted in the last 60 seconds. The user tested this hack for several days and noticed a significant reduction in older and reposted jobs, as well as an increase in instances where they were among the first applicants. This discovery has implications for job seekers in a competitive market, where being one of the first applicants can greatly improve their chances of success.
