Razer shoves buggy Synapse into a browser: Quick RGB tweaks at LAN parties, minus the desktop meltdown

Razer, a leading gaming peripheral company, has announced the beta release of Synapse Web, a browser-based version of its desktop software. The web app allows users to make quick adjustments to their devices, such as the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro keyboard, when away from home, like at LANs or tournaments. Currently, Synapse Web only supports the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro, but the company plans to add more devices in the future. Using any Chromium-based browser, users can modify key settings, apply Chroma RGB quick effects, and manage on-board profiles, which can be saved directly to the device's memory. This new web-based tool is intended to complement Synapse 4, the latest desktop version, and provides an alternative for users who have experienced issues with the full app. The release of Synapse Web addresses long-standing complaints about the desktop version's bugs and offers a more reliable option for Razer fans, particularly in situations where downloading the full app is not feasible.
