Dev relocates to montreal, builds 'authentic' portfolio with chaotic animations designers always veto—finally free from synergy standups

Hyunwoo, a software developer based in Montreal, Canada, has participated in the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge presented by Google AI. Originally from South Korea, Hyunwoo recently relocated to Canada and saw this challenge as an opportunity to refresh his portfolio. He focused on showcasing his authentic self, both professionally and personally, while building the portfolio using Next.js and Antigravity IDE. The project allowed him to create a tech stack visualization, a concept he had wanted to develop for some time, and also experiment with animations. By manually tweaking detailed CSS, Hyunwoo was able to organizer his thoughts and bring his vision to life. The challenge, presented by Google AI, aimed to encourage developers to showcase their skills and creativity, and Hyunwoo's submission demonstrates his ability to effectively utilize technology to convey his personality and expertise, highlighting the significance of authenticity in the tech industry.
