Deventlab has released d-engine, a lightweight distributed coordination engine for Rust, designed for building reliable distributed systems. The engine provides a simple and affordable consensus layer, with a production-ready core and APIs stabilizing toward v1.0. Released in version 0.2, d-engine offers 203K writes/s and 279K reads/s in embedded mode, and 64K writes/s and 12K reads/s in standalone mode, with configurable consistency models and pluggable storage options, available on GitHub under the MIT or Apache-2.0 license, targeting Linux and macOS platforms with Rust 1.88.
